I studied in Tokyo from 2010 to 2014 and noticed many cultural differences between Japan and my country. So to cope with my culture shock, I started to create comics about these differences. I hope that my comics will help more foreigners like me to better understand Japan and Japanese people, as well as raise awareness about some behavioral changes we might have to make during our visit. These comics were selected from a collection of more than 300 that I created between 2012 and 2015 and published on my Facebook page. I also compiled these illustrations in two books: “Eva, Kopi and Matcha” and “Eva, Kopi and Matcha 2.0” which are available on Amazon and other e-book platforms (Kindle, iBooks, Google Books, Kobo).
