Perry Bible Fellowship (PBF) comics have been around longer than some of you. Nicholas Gurewitch’s dark and ingenious ideas have been shaking up the world for two decades. What started as a comic strip published in a college newspaper has become one of the Internet’s most beloved webcomics, filled with whimsical, dark and unexpected humor.
On Jan. 23, Perry Bible Fellowship celebrated the 20th anniversary of the creation of the first comic and prepared a surprise for its readers. To mark the occasion, PBF is collaborating with other great comic artists to create 20 comics, so you might recognize the style of your favorite artists. This is exciting news for longtime fans of The Perry Bible Fellowship, as it means a regular dose of grim and absurd comedy after Gurewitch cut back on weekly comics in 2008 and posted new comics infrequently.
